What is PU?
Polyurethane is also called PU, a plastic material, which exist in various forms. PU is versatile, modern and safe. They are used in a wide variety of applications to create products that play a crucial role in making our lives more convenient, comfortable and environmentally-friendly.
Polyurethanes for Footwear
PU is found in a wide range of footwear types such us sport shoes, boots, fashion shoes, safety shoes and etc. High density to compact polyurethane system is utilized for mid soles and out soles.

Why PU?
1. Sustainability
PU industry is going to protect our planet’s resources for future generations, recycling material, and energy recovery options are available at the end of a PU product’s lifetime.
PU is safe. Polyurethanes are derived from chemicals called diisocyanates and phylon that undergo a reaction to form an inert substance – polyurethane. Substantial research has shown polyurethanes to be safe and inert.
2. Comfort
The Shoes made of PU are very comfortable that mid soles are perfectly adaptable to the shape of the food, water-resistant soles and the upper part is light in weight.
3. Versatility
The main advantage used Polyurethane for shoes are its versatility, the elasticity, hardness and density of the product can be defined in such a way that they meet all relevant requirements. PU can be used for a wide applications, and potential for future development.
4. Protection
The Use of polyurethanes in footwear ensures that our feet are well protected when we walk about and run. The cushioning qualities of the material would mean that our bodies are better able to absorb the constant high levels of impact going through in our everyday lives.
